SPARKLE ... in otherwords, let your light shine!!

I've been tossing this idea around in my head for quite awhile now. I have this driving passion to make a difference in people's lives. Ordinary people, people I run into on a day to day basis, friends, family, colleagues, and those random people who "just happen" to cross my path. I believe we're all put on this earth to shine our light and I'm seeking to do just that, step by step. Recently, these words have touched me in a new way: Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven. Would you like to join me on this journey? Not sure where it will take us ... but here goes!
